Artist: Twostep
Jean Smith and Ian Craigs both started dancing with the Newcastle Cloggies, later becoming involved in the collection of dance steps with the Instep Research Team and performing with the dance group Instep. They have focused on developing their own repertoire of duets and solo dances bringing together traditional steps as well as creating their own contemporary pieces. Jean and Ian regularly run workshops and will be accompanied this week by musician Heather Hazell. Their black and white costume features the traditional Northumbrian tartan or shepherds plaid.
